Iran displays bloodied faces of Trump, Bibi, and others amidst peace negotiation

Iran amped up its psy-op against the US on Tuesday with billboards across Tehran showing US President Trump and his men in bloodied faces and tattered suits.

“We will kill Trump,” a billboard towering over the Enghelab Square in Tehran read, according to an AFP report on Tuesday.

The report further cited another billboard showing Trump with his sidekick JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, all bloodied up in front of torn Israeli and US flags.

“There will be blood,” dozens of citizens said while calling for revenge for the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whom US-Israeli joint air strikes killed attacks on February 28.

Iran introduced psychological warfare to its tactics in 1979 during the Islamic Revolution. The tactic comes into use to honour allies, heroes, and relay political threats to the US and Israel.

There is also an open-air exhibition featuring paintings of Trump, including one showing him with his face lying bloodied on the ground, and a foot pressing down on his head.

A life-sized mock jail cell, with an actor impersonating Trump spending the day inside, has also been on display.

Israel-US attacked Iran in February, leading to a three-month-long hot war that eventually iced over into a cold war with occasional eruption of bombing—of Tehran by the allies, and of many Gulf states (where America has military and economic assets) by Iran.

Another round of negotiation continues following a series of deadlock, and Trump has been indicating a likely end, as usual.
